I would create and put up signs reporting a found dog or cat in the neighborhood in hopes of returning the lost fur-family member. As a child I was a cat-mom, spending my time with my cats, learning how to bottle feed the kittens, and providing support for the overwhelmed cat mother. I grew up on a ranch in Northern California, where I was fortunate to be surrounded by a variety of animals. I was responsible for the daily care of our chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. I also enjoyed observing the local wildlife, including lizards, snakes, birds, coyotes, and deer. This upbringing instilled in me a deep appreciation for all animals and the importance of providing them with respect, love, and care.

What people notice most when they come to my house is how chill all three pets are with one another. That comes from being “the animal whisperer”. I have always been good with animals. Throughout life I have had a variety of different pets; from cats, dogs, rabbits, outside wild squirrels, wild birds, goats, pony’s and horses. But the main pets have been dogs and cats.
