My lifelong passion for animals began as a small child growing up alongside a loyal German shepherd, Sally, and two scrappy rescue cats. As a teenager I backpacked the forests of Montana with my trusty golden retriever, Toby. In my twenties I lived and worked on small farms handling everything from goats to parrots and geese to alpacas. Today, my constant canine companion is my sweet Chihuahua mix, Shakespeare. He’s quite a little character who loves making new friends, whether human or canine.
