Animal lovers who live in Northeast LA, Glendale, Pasadena, Downtown, Hollywood, Westside & Eastside areas—make your own schedule to work with pets in your own home and neighborhood!
Visits are typically 1–2 times each day per household, for 1–14 days, and usually range from 20 to 90 minutes per visit. You'll provide pet feeding, walking, clean-up, plant watering, mail pickup, etc. while clients are traveling or at work. Occasional overnight stays & boarding pets in your own home would be a plus.
Reliable, insured (preferably 'pet-friendly') vehicle and a clean driving record.
EASY TO REACH: Must have a smart phone, internet access, and respond to email & text messages within a few hours or less.
Able to commit to working with us for at least one year.
Passionate and knowledgeable about the care of cats, dogs and other animals.
Available for various morning, afternoon, evening and overnight visits, seven days per week.
AVAILABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS AND AT LEAST 2 OF THE 3 MAJOR WINTER HOLIDAYS.
Work well independently, detail oriented, resourceful and physically fit.
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsible and organized.
Clean and considerate, with discretion and respect for safety, security and privacy.
Can pass a criminal / background check.
Have at least 2 pet care references.
Experience giving cats & dogs oral & injectable medication is a plus.
